Game recap

What a game..  Game 1 shootout and the Venetian Lions send the North York Leafs home in disbelief. The Lions would score twice in the shoout out as Daniel Bancheri would score the shootout winner and celebrated as the Leafs were still pulling a calculator out of Ricky's bag.

The Lions would be up 1-0 for almost the entire game.  But then in the second when they found themselves in the penalty box, it opened the doors for the Leafs.  Marcel Mallais would score 2 on the PP, and before you knew it, the Lions were down 2-1. But less than 3 minutes later Gian Francesco would tie it up, and we were off to OT.

Overtime wouldn't solve anything, and off the shoot out.  Dylan Steele would score the only goal for the Leafs that squeaked by Albert Parente, but after that, Parente would stop them all.

Game 2 will be another good one at Woodbridge Memorial Monday night.
